Yummmm… Queso

I’ve been on the search for a good queso ever since arriving in Florida. One day, at work, somebody mentioned Tijuana Flats – “a spin on Mexican food” , “really good food” — said my co-worker.

So I immediately set off to find this place. Turned out , it’s near The Coconut Point – a mall about 40 minutes or so away from House #3914.

Today we headed over there.

Walking in we were welcomed by the server, who was very friendly. The place was decorated very sci-fi with aliens on the walls , etc. Apparently, that is “their theme.” We ordered a queso with chips, which was good – queso was what I am used to (like Tex-Mex style), and I had the flautas (which were NOT up to par). The tortilla was very thick, and resembled more of a quesidilla than a flauta. Sebs had the burrito, and that too, was just mediocore. His, however, did look like a burrito though. Food wasn’t all that wonderful, but the customer service was very good.
