~ Weightloss Wednesday ~

Back on Jan 5th
I mentioned one of our goals for the New Year is to lose weight –
so here’s a new thread –
Weightloss Wednesday!
This new thread of posts will include
our new daily habits, new foods we try out, and anything else
that peaks our interest to help with our Goal #1 of the year –
to be healthy and happy.
Therefore, to commence –
Here is a new recipe we have recently tried out:
Turkey Burgers
yields 7 burgers
What you need:
1 1/2 lb of ground turkey
1 small onion, minced
1/2 cup of dry oatmeal
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp worchestershire sauce
salt, optional
What you do:
1. Mix all ingredients together very well.
2. Divide into equals (I use a measuring 3/4 cup)
3. Heat pan and cook over stove (optional – grill)
4. When cooked, place on bun , place some veggies.
5. Enjoy!!

Sorry there is no picture –
I was too hungry and ate them before I could grab the camera!
These are good at any time,
when eating with lunch or dinner.
And even goes well plain with just a salad.
